Making A Murderer's Steven Avery has announced that he is engaged for the third time, after popping the question to legal secretary Lynn Hartmann.
The 54-year-old, who became a household name following the release of the Netflix documentary, is currently serving a life sentence at Waipun Correctional Institute and is believed to have met Hartmann for the first time last week.
The two exchanged letters and phone calls for eight months before putting a ring on it, with Avery telling Mail Online that the couple will be "laughing forever".
"I'm happy, she treats me decent, she loves me, she's kind of spoiling me right now. I just want to be happy and enjoy my life, I think I did enough time."
Avery was jailed in connection with the murder of photographer Teresa Halbach in 2005 but has fought the conviction ever since, with a new appeal currently going through the courts.
