The pioneering brand has been creating cognac for more than 250 years, and always strives to change things up; working alongside the coolest artists of the moment ensures that Maison Hennessy is a serious work of art - right down to its beautiful bottles.
The latest limited edition? The 2017 Hennessy Very Special Limited Edition Series, a graffiti-esque creation by urban artist JonOne.
JonOne built layer upon layer of freestyle splashes of colour, intermixed with Hennessy’s own imagery, echoing the complex layers of flavours and aromas the Master Blender creates during the blending process.
The result?
A stunning work that captures the spirit of both artist and Maison...
Just like Hennessy, contemporary street artist JonOne is a true trailblazer, and gets inspiration for his unique style from his home base in Paris and his native Harlem.
When JonOne met Master Blender of Hennessy Yann Fillioux, he realised how similar his art work and Hennessy really were. "They create beauty with their own hands; they know the joy of creation", he said.
"For them and for me, it’s not just a job, it’s part of your life.”
